Our suggested trip starts you with a few nights at the magnificent Bodysgallen Hall in North Wales and finishes with a luxurious stay at the Celtic Manor Resort near Cardiff (site of the 2010 Ryder Cup). During the seven-night odyssey you'll play six fantastic courses at Conwy, Llandudno, Royal St. Davids, Pyle & Kenfig, Royal Porthcawl, and the Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor.

Depart the States for the United Kingdom.

Bodysgallen Hall

Arrive England (Manchester Airport), where you'll be met by a EGT Golf  representative who will help secure your rental car and answer any last minute questions. From the airport travel west (2 hours) into northern Wales and the town of Llandudno. Your host for the first three nights will be the Bodysgallen Hall, one of Wales best.

Luxury. Character. These are the words that come to mind as you drive up to Bodysgallen Hall. Set in 200 acres of parkland and formal gardens, this 17th Century house is elevated to allow views overlooking the seaside town of Llandudno. From here you have beautiful views of Conwy Castle and the Snowdonia mountains in the distance. Although most of the house dates from the 17th century, many believe that the property has 13thcentury origins. History is a big theme throughout the house with comfortable rooms decorated in period antiques, wonderful lounge areas, log fires, a cocktail bar, and elegant dining rooms. Friendly and attentive service is discreetly offered, while the restaurant features fine local produce carefully prepared.

Conwy Golf Club, Hole #9

Travel (20 minutes) to Conwy Golf Club for your first round of golf.

CONWY

Conwy, or Caernarvonshire, is one of Wales' most storied courses. The club was founded in 1890 and has been hosting international and national championships for over 100 years. The course is a true links with fairways meandering through the sandhills and gorse with stunning views of the Great Orme of Llandudno.

North Wales Golf Club

Head nearby today for a round at North Wales Golf Club.

GOLF:

LLANDUDNO (NORTH WALES) GOLF CLUB

Welcome to Llandudno (North Wales) Golf Club. Open since 1894, this charming course has played host to many regional championships through the years. The course is best known for its views of both Little and Great Orme, with the town of Llandudno between the two in the distance. It's a true links course located on the West Shore of Conway Bay.

WEDNESDAY

 

Royal St. David's, Hole #10

Today will be your longest day. You'll travel just over an hour southwest to Harlech for a round on the magnificent links at Royal St. David's.

GOLF:

ROYAL ST. DAVIDS

Royal St. Davids was founded in 1894. One of Wales greatest courses, St. Davids is known for its glorious setting — on the one side stretch the blue waters of Tremedog Bay and on the other side is the great mountains of Snowdonia National Park. At just over 6,400 yards accuracy, rather than length, will determine one's score.


 

After golf, you'll travel about 3 hours 45 minutes through the heart of Wales to the southern coast. Your host for the final four nights will be at Celtic Manor, site of the 2010 Ryder Cup.

Selected as host course for the 2010 Ryder Cup, The Twenty Ten Course (formerly called Wentwood Hills) at Celtic Manor is recognized as one of the best inland courses in Britain. The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design features spectacular views across the Usk Valley. At 7400 yards from the tips, it is quite a challenge for golfers of all levels.

FRIDAY

 

PYLE & KENFIG, Hole #14

Travel west (1 hour) to Pyle & Kenfig.

GOLF:

PYLE & KENFIG

A round at Pyle and Kenfig gets you comfortable early with a nice selection of downland holes. Continuing through the front nine the course continues to pick up pace until you finish the round with a stretch of links-style holes through great sand dunes. Although often windy, Pyle & Kenfig is a joy to play.

SATURDAY

Royal Porthcawl

Your final round may just be your favorite as you'll head out to play Royal Porthcawl. The course is located 45 minutes west of Celtic Manor.

GOLF:

ROYAL PORTHCAWL

This championship links course is always in sight of the sea and has hosted many major tournaments. The British team upset a strong American team led by Tiger Woods in the 1995 Walker Cup at Royal Porthcawl. Many consider this course not only to be the finest in Wales, but also in the British Isles.

SUNDAY

Your wonderful trip has come to an end. Travel to London Heathrow (1 hour 30 minutes) or London Gatwick (2 hours) for a return flight to the States.

When confirming a reservation the following information is needed:

  • Full names of everyone in the party and a rooming list.

  • A copy of each golfer's handicap card.

  • Flight information (arrival & departure).

Reservation Procedures

  1. Simply call, write, or fax us with your inquiry.

  2. 1250 per person deposit required.

  3. Hotels, golf courses, and ground transportation confirmed. All courses and hotels based on availability at time of booking.

  4. Full payment due 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival. Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your departure you will receive all necessary travel documents.

Method of Payment

U.S. currency in the form of agency checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Cancellations

Cancellations after deposit/payment should be made in writing. Cancellation penalties:

  • Time reservation is made - 60 days prior to departure: Full deposit forfeited.

  • 59-28 days prior: 50% of total package price forfeited, plus any non-refundable fees.

  • Thereafter: Full payment forfeited.

Exchange Rates

Tour prices are based on exchange rates effective at time quotation and are subject to change. It may be necessary to add a surcharge to the price of your vacation if fluctuations in the exchange rate deem it necessary. Once full payment has been received surcharges may not be levied.

Refunds

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR UNUSED PORTIONS OF ANY TOUR.
