HOTELS IN LONDON DURING THE OLYMPICS IN 2012 WILL HAVE A MINIMUM 7 NIGHT STAY.

DATES: 27 July to 12 August 2012

Most hotels are concentrated in the heart of the West End, making it easy to explore London's shops, restaurants and theatres on foot. Excellent transport links will make it easy for visitors staying in central London to get to the 2012 venues. The Javelin service will make the journey from King's Cross/St Pancras to the Olympic Park in just seven minutes.

Where to stay for less?

Kent

We can recommend hotels near the main train stations in Kent, the garden of England, just outside of London. During the Olympic Games (27th July to 12th August) there will be operating a Javelin shuttle service using high speed trains to the Olympic Park in Stratford. Five trains per hour will run between these stations, with a further two departures from Ashford International each hour and one departure an hour from Faversham. Ebbsfleet International Station is one of the official 'Park and Rail' Services and just 10 minutes by high-speed rail link into the centre of the Olympic Park. Mainline services will run as normal from Monday to Saturday with a number of enhancements on selected services, for example an increase in carriage numbers and an extension of services on certain lines. Sunday services will operate as an amended Saturday service with a few exceptions.

The 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will use a mixture of new venues, existing and historic facilities, and temporary facilities, some of them in well-known locations such as Hyde Park and Horse Guards Parade.
